An inmate who was sentenced to a year behind bars for biting a police officer, after demanding a cigarette break by harming himself and cutting his forearms, has lost his objection to the verdict.
The 25-year-old man is currently serving a five-year sentence in Jaw Prison for assaulting policemen, and was previously convicted and jailed for violence against officers at least four times .
