THE Interior Ministry has announced the conclusion of the 2025 summer programme for officers’ children, aged six to 12, organised by the Public Security Sports Association (PSSA).
The event aimed to enrich knowledge and instil values of belonging and community service.
PSSA president Brigadier Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayyat commended the support of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa and the follow-up of Public Security chief Lieutenant-General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, which contributed to the success of the activities.
Brigadier Al Khayyat said the programme aimed to build confidence, develop skills, enhance cultural, social, and sports talents, promote positive use of free time, strengthen citizenship values, encourage cooperation, and foster community engagement.
Activities included awareness lectures, workshops, and field visits to familiarise participants with the role of institutions, alongside recreational and educational events. The programme concluded with a ceremony honouring participants.
