BASKETBALL – BAHRAIN Olympic Committee (BOC) vice-president Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa attended on Sunday night the final and awards ceremony of the Fiba Asia Cup 2025 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Shaikh Isa participated in the prize presentation, handing out the bronze medals to third-placers Iran.
He was also on hand during the coronation of Australia, who clinched the title for the third straight edition after defeating China by a single point in the gold medal contest.
On the occasion, Shaikh Isa expressed his delight in attending the major continental basketball event, and appreciated the efforts of Saudi Arabia in hosting and organising the tournament, noting the significant role of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and the Saudi Basketball Federation.
