The introduction of stricter penalties will help regulate road users’ behaviour, deter violations and reduce dangerous practices that cause serious accidents, Interior Minister and Traffic Council chairman General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa has said.He pointed out last night that a dedicated working group had been formed within the ministry to study the law and draft amendments in co-ordination with relevant authorities and committees .
