Traffic Director-General Major General Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa said that the issuance of the decree-law amending provisions of the Traffic Law reflected the vision of His Majesty King Hamad, in preserving lives and property and developing the legislative system.
Maj Gen Shaikh Abdulrahman commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, regarding the strict enforcement of penalties for traffic violations and accidents resulting in serious injuries or fatalities, as well as the instructions of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to take legal measures under the Traffic Law and its executive regulations, contributing to the protection of lives and property .
