Kuwait Municipality has reiterated the rules citizens are expected to adhere to while celebrating National Day on 25 February.
In a statement, the municipality stressed that expressions of joy must go hand-in-hand with preserving the cleanliness of public spaces. Authorities also warned against the use of water balloons and water guns during the celebrations, noting that such practices can lead to public disorder or property damage.
The sale of balloons and water guns during the National Day holiday period was previously banned following an increase in reports of injuries and damage to vehicles and property.
