Oman's Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received Shaikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait.
The meeting addressed ongoing regional developments, as Sultan Haitham bin Tarik listened to Kuwait’s perspectives on the war and its severe repercussions for regional states and the global economy, according to the Oman News Agency (ONA).
The Sultan affirmed the Sultanate of Oman’s stance on these issues, emphasising the consequent necessity of intensifying efforts to achieve de-escalation, reduce tensions and acts of provocation, and coming up with solutions to resolve the crisis at its roots. The Sultan noted that this would contribute to safeguarding regional security, stability and the well-being of its peoples.
