Air quality remains safe and within normal parameters after Iranian attacks against Bapco Energies and GPIC facilities yesterday, according to the Supreme Council for Environment (SCE).
The council conducted field tests after the fires were extinguished and found no abnormal levels of pollutants in the air.
Specialised teams tested air quality during a comprehensive field survey of the affected facilities’ surroundings. The results showed normal air quality levels.
The SCE also noted that it continues to monitor air quality levels in Bahrain around the clock as part of ongoing precautionary measures and in co-ordination with relevant authorities within approved emergency plans.
