The new-look Saudi banknotes and coins have been officially unveiled.
The 6th issue of banknotes and coins in the era of incumbent King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud were released under the motto, 'Trust and Security'.
The Saudi Monetary Authority (SAMA) organized the launch ceremony which was attended by Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf and SAMA Governor Dr. Ahmed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khulaifi.
SAMA officials have also released a video recording to document the multi-phased process of the 6th edition, which included for the first time a one-riyal and a two-riyal coin, replacing the paper banknote.
