In an inspiring incident for movie buffs a 13-year-old Chinese boy escaped his captors using skills he learnt from watching gangster flicks.
According to a report in Scol.com.cn, the boy identified by his surname, Yi, was kidnapped from the streets of Fuxin village in Sichuan province on September 24.
He was then taken to an abandoned house where his hands were tied to his back and roped to his feet. His face was covered with a plastic bag, with a small slit in the front through which a straw was passed to help him breathe.
When the kidnappers left the building, Yi took the opportunity of escaping. He hopped from the room and escaped out onto the streets.
A passing motorist saw Yi and helped him to run away.
Report in Scol.com.cn says police is investigating the matter and has already made an arrest.
