Daniel Bryan has expressed his desire to wrestle once again several times and has said he is willing to go elsewhere once his WWE contract expires.
Bryan has been making some questionable decisions as Smackdown Live's General Manager, which has put a strain on the harmonious relationship he's had with Shane McMahon.
The GM has been butting heads with both Shane McMahon and AJ Styles for a while.
Bryan could have been leading Kevin Owns and Sami Zayn that he is on their side, and end up teaming with Styles making the Handicap match a tag team match.
The leader of the Yes movement could also enter the Royal Rumble.
Win or lose, an entry into the Rumble would leave Bryan with a plethora of options heading into Wrestlemania.
Kenny Omega makes his WWE debut during the men's Royal Rumble match.
This is arguably the most far-fetched prediction.
Usually when WWE is about to sign a new superstar the news is all over the internet.
There has been no suggestion that Kenny Omega would sign with the WWE, which is why it would make an excellent surprise.
The only indication that this could remotely be possible is that Chris Jericho faced Kenny Omega at NJPW's Wrestlekingdom event in Tokyo, and then appeared at the 25th anniversary of RAW last week.
The Undertaker eliminates John Cena from the men's Royal Rumble match.
Fans have been waiting for a John Cena vs Undertaker match for years.
Although the two have faced each other multiple times before, they haven't crossed paths much since Cena became the largest star.
Speculation over the Undertaker's status has been going on since last year's Wrestlemania. Last year in a program with Roman Reigns John Cena threw a snide comment against the deadman.
Undertaker could appear during the Royal Rumble and eliminate John Cena, this could be the beginning of their rivalry, which would then conclude at Wrestlemania.
Ronda Rousey enters and wins the women's Royal Rumble match.
Ronda Rousey and the WWE have shown a lot of interest in each other.
The former UFC champion has appeared a few times before, but never in a wrestling role.
It was rumored a few months ago that she had signed a deal with the WWE.
Although there is no official confirmation, Rousey is the odds-on favorite to win the women's Royal Rumble match.
The MMA fighter has recently denied signing with the WWE, but that could have been done to throw fans of the scent.
Shinsuke Nakamura wins the men's Royal Rumble match.
Shinsuke Nakamura has had an 'Ok' year in 2017, while many believe he hasn't lived up to the hype, he is still very popular with the fans.
The WWE could have purposely held Nakamura back to turn him into a dark horse.
A win by Nakamura could lead to a match against AJ Styles at Wrestlemania, which fans have been eager to see.
