Riyadh: A delayed Saudi Arabian Airlines A320 plane finally landed at the King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah, coming from Sudan.
The flight SV464 took off from Port Sudan Airport two hours late after a group of people stormed the tarmac and subverted operations.
A video posted on social media showed a number of people who were “blocking the Saudi plane”.
The Saudi national carrier said in a statement that it had co-ordinated with competent authorities to ensure compliance with international airport safety and security standards.
