Riyadh: The border guards foiled an attempt to smuggle in 373 bundles of qat/khat leaves which are chewed as a stimulant.
They searched a Toyota Land Cruiser (Model 1982) and confiscated the haul, in the province of Asir.
Initial investigation revealed that the car was declared stolen.
The driver is also wanted in connection with other cases.
