Dubai: The Ministry of Education made an announcement about change in timings for all public schools, effective from May 1.
The ministry reduced the school timing by an hour and the new timing will be effective to all public schools this current academic year, reported Emirates 24/7.
Boys’ schools (for all stages) will begin at 7.15am. For the first stage, it will end at 12.50pm, instead of 1.45pm. And, for the second and secondary it will end at 1.35pm, instead of 2.35pm.
For the girls’ schools (for all stages), it will start at 8am. For the first stage, it will end at 1.35pm, instead of 2.30pm. And, for the second and secondary stage it will end at 2.20pm, instead of 3.20pm.
There will be eight daily classes in second and secondary stages schools for both boys and girls, barring Thursday, when there will be only 7 classes.
