In what can be termed as a bizarre marriage event, a father who went to see his son getting married to a woman ended up marrying himself.
The incident occurred in Jazan province of Saudi Arabia where a father accompanied his son to his would-be bride’s home for his planned marriage.
The would-be in-laws refused to get their younger daughter married on the ground that they wanted their elder daughter to marry first.
This angered his son who stormed out of the house.
However, the father stayed there and proposed to marry their elder daughter and they agreed, reported Saudi Arabic daily Sada.
The father married the elder daughter and brought her home later.
