Reopening parts of the economy in the weeks to come should go hand-in-hand with continued Covid-19 education for expat workers alongside stringent policies to ensure labour camp facilities meet international standards, said a leading MP.
National Action Charter Bloc president MP Mohammed Al Sissi warned that any return to cramming expatriates into residences, forcing them to share beds on a rota-basis, and making them travel in crowded buses should result in companies facing severe consequences .
