Fireworks, discounts and parades will be featured on Eid Al-Adha in Sharjah this year.
The Al Majaz Waterfront overlooking the Khalid Lagoon will see fireworks lighting up the sky at 8pm on July 20 to mark the start of Eid.
It will also feature parades with local artists, live music, and acrobatic performances, as well as celebrity impersonators.
Disney characters will also be there, such as Aladdin, Jasmine, The Genie and The Sultan.
Visitors will also be given the chance to win a BMW SUV and cash prizes, sponsored by the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq).
The only requirement is for visitors to spend a minimum of DH50 at the various public destinations in the city, including Al Majaz Waterfront, Al Montazah Parks, and Al Noor Island.
Visitors can also discover the scenic desert landscape of Mleiha with a 50% discount on buggy rides and 30% off on horse-riding tours.
