THE next few days are likely to be cold, dusty and windy, according to weathermen.
Bahrain is currently facing moderate to brisk southeasterly winds, with warm weather during the day and moderate at night, and some clouds in between due to dominant low atmospheric pressure over the central region of the Arabian Peninsula, an official source at the Meteorological Department said yesterday.
He said a high pressure area is heading to the peninsula this week, accompanied by a cold air mass moving eastward towards Bahrain.
Northwesterly winds are expected to resume from tomorrow, coinciding with the entry of the astronomical winter.
These may strengthen, with dust, and these conditions will continue for several days. There will be a significant decrease in temperatures, with the weather becoming cold and partly cloudy, he said.
