AN expatriate man has been found dead in the car park of a residential building in Gudaibiya and police are investigating the cause.
Residents watched in shock as officers and forensic officers cordoned off an underground car park for around five hours on Monday evening.
It is believed the body of a middle-aged Indian was moved to Salmaniya Medical Complex morgue as witnesses were interviewed and CCTV cameras in the area checked.
The corpse was discovered by a caretaker of the building and it is believed that a knife and a note were found at the scene.
The Indian Embassy told the GDN that it was aware of the incident.
“Local authorities are looking into the matter and the embassy is also providing all possible assistance in the matter,” a spokesman said.
