The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, congratulated His Majesty King Hamad following the successful launch of the first Bahrain-UAE satellite, Light-1.
HRH Prince Salman highlighted that this vital project advances the kingdom’s comprehensive development, led by His Majesty.
He commended the efforts of National Security Adviser, Royal Guard Commander, and Supreme Defence Council secretary general Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for the scientific achievement.
HRH Prince Salman expressed pride in Team Bahrain’s contribution to the project, adding that the satellite’s launch is yet another milestone for the kingdom.
HRH Prince Salman also congratulated UAE President Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
