PEOPLE across the kingdom have been urged to brace themselves for further unsettled weather and scattered showers in the coming days.
According to the Transportation and Telecommunication Ministry’s meteorological directorate, there is a chance of heavy early morning fog in some areas until Wednesday.
Scattered rain is expected on January 13 and 14 with temperatures dropping. Strong gusts of wind blowing from the north-west across the kingdom caused temperatures to drop to a minimum of 12C.
Heavy rains and winds from December 31 to January 2 wreaked havoc in the country, flooding areas such as A’ali, Karranah, Saar, Hajiyat and Buhair and causing damage to public property.
A new road leading to Al Louzi housing in Hamad Town also received the most rainwater during last weekend’s heavy downpour.
