The Housing Ministry is continuing to distribute an additional 2,000 units in East Sitra and East Hidd cities.
Keys of the units were handed over to eligible applicants featuring on the waiting lists, while complying with the mandatory Covid precautionary measures.
The move is in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad to provide 40,000 housing units and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute 2,000 units.
