REGISTRATIONS will be open for the 2023 Crown Prince’s International Scholarship Programme (CPISP) from March 1 to 17, it has been announced.
In co-operation with the Education Ministry, the CPISP hosted an online presentation about the programme.
The presentations were delivered by CPISP finance and administration affairs director Shatha Ali and the programme’s public relations and media specialist Fatema Al Qattan.
The scholarship is open to Bahrainis who are enrolled in Grade 11 or equivalent, and to graduate from secondary school in 2023, and hold an accumulative Grade Point Average of 97 per cent or above.
“The applicants who meet the criteria will receive an invitation by email for a series of tests to assess their English proficiency and critical reasoning abilities,” said a statement yesterday.
Initially, 60 candidates will be selected (40 from public schools and 20 from private schools) and through training and tests, 10 will be chosen as the scholarship recipients.
“Scholarships will be allocated to three males and three females from public schools, and two males and two females from private schools,” the statement added.
