His Majesty King Hamad received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at Safriya Palace yesterday.
The King was informed by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister about the successful implementation of the royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units.
His Majesty expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the landmark housing achievement, hailing his dedicated efforts to achieve further development and progress through ambitious initiatives and projects that ensure decent living conditions for citizens.
The King commended the efforts of the Housing Minister, ministry staff and other competent government entities for drawing up and implementing residential projects and providing initiatives and solutions in partnership with the private sector.
He reiterated keenness to cater to citizens’ requirements and needs and meet their aspirations towards decent living conditions, particularly housing.
“Citizens’ comfort is our ultimate goal, which we are always keen to achieve”, said His Majesty.
The King noted that Bahraini citizens are the cornerstone of national development.
He received a commemorative memento from HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister marking the completion of the implementation of the royal directives to provide 40,000 housing units.
