The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) yesterday mourned the passing of Bahrain’s ‘model mother’.
RFH secretary general Dr Mustafa Al Sayed extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and relatives of Nadia Ali Adbahi (Om Saqr).
Dr Al Sayed paid tribute to her medical achievements, voluntary work and devotion to serving widows and orphans.
She represented Bahraini women in the Model Mother Festival in Egypt in 2018.
She was crowned as model mother by the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Humanitarian and Charity Establishment.
Ms Om Saqr had a long coeducational and professional career, serving as head of the nursing programme at the College of Health Sciences. She is survived by her son Saqr and daughter Haya.
