Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) Indo-Bahrain Dance & Music Festival 2022 will feature an array of performances in May to commemorate 50 years of diplomatic relations between Bahrain and India.
The musical and dance bonanza, organised by BKS in association with SOORYA, also celebrates India’s 75th year of independence and 75th year of BKS’s formation.
According to BKS president PV Radhakrishna Pillai, the group is thankful to the Indian Embassy, the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities and the Labour and Social Development Ministry, for their assistance in hosting the celebration which runs from May 3 to 14.
UNEECO, the event’s main sponsor, recently handed over a cheque supporting the festival at its office in Hidd.
