His Majesty King Hamad yesterday met Palestinian President’s Personal Representative Yasser Mahmoud Abbas, in the presence of Palestinian Ambassador Taha Mohammed Abdul Qadir.
Mr Abbas conveyed to the King greetings from President Mahmoud Abbas and best wishes of continuous good health and happiness to him as well as further growth and prosperity to Bahrain and its people.
The King welcomed the Palestinian President’s Personal Representative and conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Palestinian President as well as his best wishes of security, stability and prosperity to the Palestinian people.
He reiterated Bahrain’s unwavering stance in supporting the Palestinian cause and all endeavours in achieving just and comprehensive peace in the region.
He also underscored the kingdom’s support to the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state according to the two-state solution and the resolutions of the international legitimacy so as to achieve stability and prosperity to all people in the region.
