Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Bahrain on Tuesday, and hold talks on bilateral relations and ways to enhance them.
He will also visit Saudi Arabia to take part in the ministerial forum of foreign ministers of Russia and GCC countries. In an interview with Russia Today channel, Mr Lavrov expressed his country’s satisfaction with the positive positions of Arab countries on the Ukrainian crisis, noting Moscow’s confidence in the firm stances of friendly countries. “All Arab countries take a responsible stand and prove that they rely only on their national interests and are not ready to sacrifice these interests to serve opportunistic geopolitical adventures of any party,” he said.
