A NEW service to help Bahraini citizens living abroad renew their passports faster has been launched.
Under the service, announced yesterday by the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA), the new passports will be delivered to the citizens at their homes in 10 days instead of more than two months it took earlier, according to Interior Ministry Under-Secretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
He praised NPRA’s co-operation with the Foreign Ministry in providing all possible facilities for citizens living abroad.
The NPRA has also signed an agreement with DHL Express to ensure secure and fast delivery of documents.
