Four people have been arrested for allegedly dealing in counterfeit currency.
The suspects tried to trick a person into believing that they could convert ordinary paper into banknotes, according to the Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security General Directorate.
An investigation was launched as soon as information was received about the scam.
This led to the identification and arrest of the four accused red-handed.
“Legal proceedings were taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution,” said a statement.
