A MAN who tricked people into thinking that he could convert regular paper into cash has been arrested, announced the Interior Ministry.
The suspect, identified only as African, was arrested after the Anti-Corruption, Economic and Electronic Security General Directorate investigated reports about his fraudulent activities.
After searching the man’s residence, police found devices, material and chemicals he used to con people, said a statement yesterday.
The case is in the process of being referred to the Public Prosecution.
The directorate advised citizens and residents against being deceived by individuals who claim that they can multiply money.
