Twenty illegal taxi drivers were detained in Kuwait after they were caught picking up passengers at the airport.
The unexpected traffic campaign to target unlicensed private taxis was carried out at Kuwait International Airport, it was revealed.
Officials announced that the initiative would continue and advised passengers to make use of authorised cabs available at the airport for their travel requirements.
Legal action has been taken against those caught.
