St Christopher’s School Bahrain has, for the second year in a row, been recognised as one of the world’s best private schools in 2022 by Spear’s School Index and Carfax Education, writes Stanley Szecowka.
Starting from modest beginnings in 1961 in a villa, it now provides education to more than 2,300 pupils, aged three to 18, from 70 nations, at campuses in Saar and Isa Town.
“As the only school in Bahrain to be present on the list in 2021 and 2022, we are immensely proud to have included the Kingdom of Bahrain to this prestigious list of the world’s best schools,” a school spokesman said.
The Spear’s index describes itself as a research-based worldwide index of the very finest private schools, and a ‘valuable resource’ for its audience members when making some of their most important decisions such as ‘where to educate their children’.
“Inclusion depends on the very highest standards in the classroom, world-class facilities for the pupils and, this year, excellence in response to the challenges of schooling in the midst of a pandemic,” added Ian Douglas, head of research and insight at Spear’s.
