Bahrain Football Association (BFA) president Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa congratulated Al Khaldiya Club chairman Mahmood Janahi for the team’s victory in the Super Cup.
Last season’s King Cup champions Al Khaldiya defeated Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League winners Riffa in the Super Cup match played on Thursday at the Bahrain National Stadium.
Shaikh Ali praised Al Khaldiya team members for their outstanding performances last season and wished them success in the new campaign.
BFA vice-president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa also praised Al Khaldiya for the Super Cup triumph.
