A Bahrain-based businessman has been presented with the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry Diaspora Entrepreneur Award.
Poullaides Construction Company (PCC) announced that its chairman and managing director, Christos A Poullaides, was honoured at the prestigious CYDIA Awards 2026, held at the Parklane Resort in Limassol, Cyprus , bringing together leaders from across the global Cypriot community.
The award recognises Mr Poullaides’ outstanding contributions to the international construction industry and his enduring commitment to Cyprus and its global diaspora.
A professionally qualified civil engineer and Commonwealth Scholar, Mr Poullaides has led the growth of the Poullaides Group of Companies into a multinational organisation operating across six countries, employing more than 3,000 people and successfully delivering over 650 civil engineering and building projects.
Headquartered in Bahrain, the Group maintains a strong presence across the Gulf region and Cyprus.
Through his visionary leadership, technical expertise, and commitment to the highest international standards, Mr Poullaides has made a significant contribution to the built environment across the region.
He also actively supports community initiatives through the Christos Poullaides Foundation, advancing programmes in health, education, and sports.
