Bahraini icon Hamza Kooheji will return to action as the number one Middle Eastern sports media property and fastest-growing mixed martial arts organisation in the world, born in Bahrain, is back home.
BRAVE Combat Federation will host the latest instalment of Kombat Kingdom, with three events taking place between next Wednesday and October 28, bringing several world-class athletes from across the globe to Bahrain – all events will take place at the Khalifa Sports City Arena, and will be open to the public as tickets are now being sold on WanasaTime.
Kooheji will fight Colombia superstar Eduardo Mora in the main event of BRAVE CF 65: Rumble In The Kingdom, the last event of the series, taking place on October 28.
Kooheji has raised his profile in recent years, becoming the number one bantamweight fighter in the Middle East and representing Bahrain internationally with pride and victories. He has a tremendous record of 11 wins against only three losses – the last of which came in a very close split decision against new champion Brad Katona, from Canada.
Now Kooheji starts the climb back to the top of BRAVE CF, as he headlines one of the biggest events in the company’s history.
‘Iron’ Hussain Ayyad, one of Bahrain’s most famous fighters, having fought under the BRAVE CF banner since May 2018, will also be in action at BRAVE CF 65 as he gets ready to make a dramatic MMA return at BRAVE CF after a huge leg injury has prevented him from fighting for more than a year.
Ayyad is one of the toughest fighters mentally in the Middle East and his comeback will prove he belongs in the biggest stages of the sport, representing Bahrain around the world with a success rate of six wins and only three losses as a professional.
