His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and Bapco Energies chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa has reaffirmed the strategic importance of aligning Bapco Energies’ long-term strategy with Bahrain’s national energy goals.
He also reaffirmed the commitment to sustainable growth, institutional resilience, and leadership in energy transition.
Shaikh Nasser was speaking yesterday as he presided over the company’s second board of directors meeting for the year 2025.
The board meeting also focused on reviewing strategic updates and progress from the first and second quarters of the year on key group-wide initiatives, commending ongoing efforts to enhance organisational performance and drive integrated value across Bapco Energies and its subsidiaries.
During the meeting, Bapco Energies group chief executive Mark Thomas provided an overview of the evolving energy landscape, outlining opportunities for innovation, investment, and transformation to ensure continued adaptability and global competitiveness. Updates were also provided on the Bapco Modernisation Project.
