The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has nominated Dr Shaikha Hessa bint Khalid Al Khalifa as member of the GCC Women’s Sports Advisory Committee.
BOC board member Dr Shaikha Hessa has been promoting women’s football for over 20 years through the Bahrain Football Association (BFA).
She became a member of the BFA board and chaired the women’s football committee. She is also member of several GCC and Arab women’s football committees.
Dr Shaikha Hessa is recipient of several prizes and medals, in recognition of her efforts to promote women’s football.
