Two new natural gas reservoirs were found in Bahrain following the implementation of evaluation drilling and tests in Al Joubah reservoir, it was announced.
The discovery also came following the completion of two wells in Al Jawf reservoir, the results of which were encouraging in terms of quantity and production opportunities.
Details were revealed as His Majesty King Hamad received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at Sakhir Palace.
Also present was His Majesty’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs and chairman of the board of directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company (Nogaholding) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
