Ronaldo became the first person ever to have 500 million followers on the social media platform - Instagram.
He has topped the list of the most followed people on Instagram for years now, with Messi coming in at 376 million followers.
Ronaldo, who is currently preparing for the 2022 World Cup, recently appeared in an ad campaign for Louis Vuitton with fellow footballer Lionel Messi.
