TEMPERATURES are expected to drop starting tomorrow with a small chance of rain on Saturday, writes Reem Al Daaysi.
The Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s Meteorological Directorate yesterday forecast strong gusts of wind with a chance of thunder starting tomorrow.
“From Thursday, winds are expected to become northern-westerly with moderate to strong speeds and continue for a few days,” said a statement.
“This will lead a noticeable drop in temperatures and cooler weather – especially at night.”
The directorate urged people to exercise caution – especially at sea – and follow official warnings posted on approved platforms.
