A Bahraini researcher at the University of Bahrain has contributed, in partnership with the University of Oxford, to the creation of highly effective crystal nanomaterials, which have the dual ability to get rid of various pollutants in highly saline seawater.
These results are considered an addition to the scientific community, as the use of nanomaterials in water purification and desalination processes contributes to raising the efficiency of the energy used, and allows to benefit from the use of renewable energy .
