THOUSANDS of students returned to public schools around Bahrain yesterday to begin the second term of the 2022-2023 academic year.
As well as welcoming the new semester, following the spring break, they gave their thumbs-up to playing with their best friends once more.
“I was so happy – I got all my school supplies ready and went to sleep early, so I could be as prepared as I could possibly be for the first day of school,” Hamad Town Primary Girls’ School student Shams Abdulmajeed said. “My goal this year is to really excel in my studies!”
“I came to school early this morning because I miss my friends and teachers so much,” her classmate Zainab Mahmood added.
