A futuristic flying bike - named Xturismo Hoverbike - has been unveiled in Abu Dhabi.
The vehicle, developed by Bayanat, in partnership with Japanese aerial mobility company Aerwins Technologies, is expected to be used in life-saving emergency services during search and rescue operations.
The 300 kg Xturismo Hoverbike can go up to 20 meters high and clock speeds of 80 Km/h for up to 40 minutes, before needing refuelling.
“The hovering bike has been successfully trialled in Japan through our partner”, said the chief executive of Bayanat, Hasan Al Hosani.
“Our plan is to start a manufacturing unit in the UAE and customise it into our specific needs in the UAE”, he added.
