BAHRAIN’S pioneering role in modifying its labour laws to promote gender equality and women empowerment has been highlighted by a top think tank in its latest report.
It also made special mention of the constitutional amendment of 2002, which ensures equality of citizens regardless of their sex, origin, language, or faith and allows women to work in any job or industry without restrictions .
