A group of Bahrain Polytechnic students recently got a hands-on look at the operations of one of the largest automotive facilities in the kingdom.
Ebrahim K Kanoo (EKK) recently welcomed 90 students into its state-of-the-art facilities as part of its initiatives to nurture talent.
The students were given a comprehensive walkthrough, starting at EKK’s Training Centre and concluding at The Plaza, one of the largest and most comprehensive service centres for Toyota in the region.
The students listened to inspiring talks, participated in fun activities, and heard insights on development programmes for fresh graduates facilitated by the company’s graduate recruitment and development programme ‘Tomooh’.
“We believe in fostering a collaborative environment that nurtures the next generation of professionals,” EKK talent management head Dr John Mathew explained.
“Engaging with Bahrain Polytechnic as part of our memorandum of understanding, allows us to share our knowledge and expertise while also learning from their fresh perspectives.
“We are proud to contribute to their growth and development.”
EKK has also brought on four Bahrain Polytechnic students to provide them with practical experience and help them get job-ready.
