THE world’s largest floating book fair docked in Bahrain yesterday with its doors opening to the public today at the Khalifa Bin Salman Port.
With more than 5,000 book titles on board, The Logos Hope just finished a one-month-stint in the UAE prior to coming to
Bahrain, and will remain docked until June 18.
Its mission is overseen by charitable organisation Gute Bücher für Alle (translated from German as Good Books for All (GBA) Ships.
Before the UAE, the ship was in Basra, Iraq, after visiting Djibouti, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and Lebanon.
The Logos Hope last visited Bahrain in 2013.
