Manama: Yusuf bin Ahmed Kanoo (YBA Kanoo) has signed an agreement with Kontra Interior Design & Contractors, a division of Mohammed Jalal and Sons, awarding the latter a contract to furnish and fit-out its Kanoo Tower office in the Diplomatic Area of Manama.
The agreement was formally signed by YBA Kanoo deputy chairman for Bahrain Fawzi Ahmed Kanoo and Mohammed Jalal and Sons managing director Jalal Mohammed Jalal.
Others present at the ceremony were Kanoo Property Division executive general manager Mohamed Abdul Khaliq, Kanoo country manager Khalid Abdulla and Mohammed Jalal and Sons director Sami Mohammed Jalal.
Under the contract which is to be executed in six months, Kontra will provide complete turnkey services of design, fabrication and installation of high-quality finishes.
Once the fit-out is completed, YBA Kanoo will move its headquarters to the new Kanoo Tower building and will occupy six floors of office space from 19 to 24 floors.
The 24-storey development features nine floors of parking with a 375-car capacity, three passenger lifts and two VIP lifts, as well as lounge area and restaurant on the ground floor, cleaning services, 24-hour building security and CCTV cameras.
Typical floor area available for tenancy is 1,062 sqm, with individual offices of 112 sqm offering views of the city and the sea.
