IT is expected to be hot and humid today, with strong winds kicking up dust in places, according to weathermen.
The maximum temperature is forecast to be 43C today, rising to 45C by Saturday, said the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry’s meteorological directorate in a statement yesterday.
Northwesterly winds 12-17 knots will reach 20-25kt at times today before settling down to a variable 7-12kt by Saturday.
The maximum humidity will hover around 70 per cent today but rise up to 85pc by Saturday.
People have been urged to exercise caution.
