His Majesty King Hamad has expressed his pride at the long-standing partnership between Bahrain and the United Kingdom.
He also underlined the important role played by the UK in the international arena and its pivotal contributions to consolidating security, stability and peace regionally and globally when he received the outgoing British Ambassador Roddy Drummond at Safriya Palace yesterday.
His Majesty commended the tremendous efforts exerted by the UK ambassador to strengthen and consolidate these relations.
He conferred the Order of Bahrain – First Class on the ambassador in recognition of his outstanding efforts to bolster bilateral relations.
The envoy expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to the King for bestowing the Bahrain Order upon him, praising the King’s major role in strengthening the distinguished partnership between Bahrain and Britain.
